Junior Ranger Program

There is no better place to take children than National Parks. These are our favorite vacations because they are relatively inexpensive, educational, active, and awe inspiring.

The kids especially enjoy participating in the Junior Ranger Programs. They are given a booklet with games and assignments and are then rewarded with a Junior Ranger badge after they report back to a ranger. Upon receiving their badge they pledge to respect the nature and help protect the National Parks.

  1. That is so great. You are lucky to be there when it is not crowded yet.

  2. That picture of all of the kids raising their hands is so cute!!!! My kids are too old for it, but I know Joseph would love it.

  3. Marie' - there's nothing quite as nice as having the whole park empty. We have only seen 3 other kids. But that makes us stick out just as much. There was actually a couple from NY who was taking pictures of us on the trail like we were wildlife.

Emily - it goes up to age 17, you've got to plan a trip out here it is fun
