Here's what I did with another wool sweater from Karen's Dad. The ribbing was added as a collar and pockets and the hood is detachable. I hope it keeps this little guy warm! (pattern info here)

I love the collar you created... and I am so jealous of the snap press all over again.
ReplyDeleteI got Quinn's coat cut out today. The thrift store was pretty dry on sweatshirts, so I got grey. I was hoping for mustard or burnt orange for contrast but they didn't have it. Crimson and gray are the school colors here, so there is always plenty grey.
It looks cozy and warm!
