I sent Paul to the U of M Property Disposition Center for another sewing table and this is what he came home with.
He did find me a great table but I was more excited about this old card catalog. We aren't sure what we are going to use it for yet (maybe sewing supplies, craft supplies, or photos) but it is a pretty cool piece of University of Michigan history.
In the meantime I suppose I could send the kids to the garage to practice their alphabetizing.

Wha! I'm drooling with jealousy. Cree told me your tip...too bad our house is the size of a closet. :)
ReplyDeleteoooh i love it!! where do i find one of those? and what's the tip amanda's referring to? you have a beautiful family!

ReplyDeleteWow--that is cool!!! What letters of the alphabet did you end up with? :)
ReplyDeleteI have been searching (everywhere) for a card catalog! Can't tell you how happy I am for you!! What a treasure!
ReplyDeleteAmanda - it will barely fit into our house right now but this is one we couldn't resist. Still go check out the warehouse but I'll warn you it is addicting
ReplyDeleteDarcy - I can't believe it has been so long! Are you anywhere close to MI? I told Amanda to go and get one because they keep coming in.
Marie- zipper? oh yeah I hate putting in zippers - maybe buttons
Emily - Paul got the F's of course
Meg - they have a whole bunch more coming in and are only $200. Email me if you really want one.
LUCKY!!!!
ReplyDeleteToo bad you live so far away I'd email you to buy one for us too!
Paul is a man of my own heart. When we first bought our home in Mapleton I bought a card catalog from BYU. The one I have isn't as cool - it is metal and has big wide drawers. It makes a great tool chest though.
ReplyDeleteAl, how big is that thing!!?? I think our house could fit in those drawers. Wow, you could play hide and seek with junk and treasures, how funny!
ReplyDeletePaul, that's absolutely awesome!
