little stroller gets a make-over

My sisters may call this an "anti-project", meaning it was too random to justify time spent.  But remaking the components of this stroller was actually quite quick, unfortunately it was so quick I got carried away and forgot to take a "before" picture.

The stroller, originally pink and green from Pottery Barn Kids, was passed on by one of my sisters.  For some reason the fabric was not secure enough and the dolls and stuffies would easily fall out.  Instead of mending it I just took it apart and used the original pieces as a pattern and added the basket below.  This kind of sewing is easier than most people think.

Maryanna is still suggesting I re-make the push bar but I'm not sure that matters.  For now and for Clara's birthday it was nice to have a cute functional stroller, one that she could run around, store her stuff in, and because of the chosen fabric I wouldn't mind it sitting about.

  3. LOVE the fabric choice. Now how do you keep the kids from sitting in the stroller and ripping the seat?

  4. Amy - IKEA! got to love their prints and their prices! Just don't love the headache of winding around the whole store and finding a cartfull of stuff I don't really need
