Up Close on the Farm

An unexpected gift came my way a few weeks ago.  Paul's parents were cleaning out a closet and found two Cannon lenses that they used years ago for catching close ups of their boys playing sports.  They have no use for them now and asked if I was interested in them.  I tried them out and sure enough they worked on my digital SLR!

I admit I lack technical skill with the camera but sometimes I get lucky with a moment.  For that reason I enjoy taking photos and always have my camera near by.  And there has certainlybeen no shortage of spontaneous picture moments this spring.

When I downloaded the picture I put this gorgeous little beauty on display life size in my bedroom in one of my large digital picture displays. The clarity and detail is so good this good looking little beauty literally appears to be directly in front of me and looks as though I can reach out and touch him! The display is warm and silky smooth so when I walk up to admire that beautiful face and his good looks I love to lean close and kiss him on the mouth and his pretty lips. It always sends shivers up and down my spine because it seems like he comes to life and I am really kissing him, which I enjoy and is a lot of fun!
