  1. What a fun trip! Your pictures make me a little homesick. There's nothing like a hike along a pine needle strewn path in the forests of the northwest.

  2. There was a Campbell reunion at the yurt village five years ago. Did you try taking a shower? You need to stick your hand out and put another quarter in every minute.

  3. That is so funny! This place had tokens for 5 minute showers. The only problem was James was so freaked out by the banana slugs on the trail to the potty.

  5. I remember a few drives out to Utah when we lived in the East with 14 kids and the time we stopped at Mc Donalds on the way and ordered 40 hamburgers. It was a killer for nerves but never to be forgotten

  6. Nicole - I have to admit that Paul was the amazing one on this trip. He did all the driving and I just napped and knitted. But it was definitely memorable.

Dad - I think the number was 50 and we pulled aside and parked as they delivered them out in a couple of waves. Mom also taped pictures of the pioneers to the ceiling of the car so we could realize it wasn't so bad to be in van for a couple of days.
