This is kind of reminds me of an Amelia Bedelia story. I asked my dinner helper to prepare the potatoes by pricking them each with a fork. This is what I found waiting to be placed in the oven. I chuckled as I pulled the forks out and my dinner helper explained how he thought they were intended as handles.

:) So cute.
ReplyDeleteHaha! Reminds of the story in Elder Maxwell's biography (at least I believe that's the biography it was in). They lived across the street from the church and usually had unexpected guests for Sunday dinner. One Sunday his wife asked their daughter to run home, scrub some potatoes, put a fork in them and put them in the oven to bake. When they arrived home from church her daughter had done just that! Each potato was cooking in the oven with a fork stuck in it like your picture.
ReplyDeleteThis gave me such a chuckle. So cute!
