The Athleta catalog was headed for the trash when Maryanna exclaimed "look Mom - a yoga book"!
It entertained the girls for almost 45 minutes. It entertained me as well! Watching the girls try to replicate the moves using pillows as props and fall down saying "that was a really hard one".
The interaction between the two was especially amusing. Clara is barely three and has already developed the annoying habit of correcting people, even her parents. Maryanna is fearless and doesn't think twice about attempting physical challenges, even inverted yoga poses. Clara sat studying the catalog while Maryanna would grunt twist and fall all the while Clara saying "you're not doing it right, you've got to keep both legs in the air".
If I wasn't feeling so immobile I may have joined them but I think I got a pretty good ab workout just laughing on the couch.
That is so funny! Maryanna is quite an acrobat! I love seeing Abby's old dress in these pictures. She loved that pink dress. I need to send you our red one that would match Clara's - I should have thought of that before Christmas.
