Booby Traps

A few of the boys have been carefully planning for April Fool's Day.  Here are their plans and how they work - and yes they worked!

I'm still trying to come up with a plan to get them before the evening is through.

  1. Funny! Gotta love the blueprints.

Sew up a pant leg in their pj's. The best April Fool's joke I played on Mr. FR I basted one leg of his jeans closed right below the knee. I used blue thread. He went to put them on in the morning and fell over because he lost his balance trying to push his foot through the pant leg. He couldn't figure out what was going on until I started laughing hysterically. It was great!

  2. I almost did a booby trap too that goes as follows:

There is a candy bar connected to a string in a tree and tied to the string on the other end is a bucket of water. When we play outside I ask "Who put that chocolate up there?". After the answer ("I dont know") then I would say "Well then, get it." After they pull it they get all wet and I shout out "April Fools!". :-D

P.S. I didnt do it because I was being a nice brother and let William and Peter get all the credit for booby traps.

  3. Now I want to hear what you ended up doing. Scott's sisters made school lunches and put delicious food that looked like dog food. Some of the younger kids came back home hungry and sad.
