Emily is planning a really fun party for Caroline and her "chums" this weekend. Yesterday she came over and together we worked on designing and sewing this cool Nancy Drew Sleuthing bag as a surprise for Caroline's birthday. I actually haven't see the recent Nancy Drew movie but I read a few of the books when I was younger. This was not as mindless as the other recent projects I have completed but it was fun. I want to play with it now. It makes me want to go to the mystery birthday party! Maybe I'll just use the same concepts and make my own cool sleuth diaper bag.
Al-- it turned out so cute!!! Caroline is going to love it. It was amazing watching you in action yesterday as you measured, cut, thought and sewed. I love the tiny pocket for the paperclips. You are right it is the small details that make it extra special. I can't wait to see your diaper bag--it will be a breeze after this project. Thanks!!!!
