It's just a bib and from the same fabric scraps you see in many of my other projects. It was quick but not so simple to sew with a 2 year old on my lap. We actually had plans to sew two but one was "flopped" because Clara kept pulling the bias tape away from the fabric as I sewed. Still it was fun to have Clara participate in this activity.
I have done a few projects with a toddler on my lap. Not really to have them participate, though, but to keep them away from tearing up the house. You are such a brave and patient mom.
ReplyDeleteOn one of such sewing times, the needle kept breaking and I couldn't get the thread tension right no matter how carefully I adjusted it. I was so frustrated, only to find out that Kai was holding on to the spinning spool whenever the machine started. He let go as soon as the machine stopped, so I never saw him do it.
