This gift made me cry

It's not that I love cooking so much but this gift said to me :

we know how hard you work to keep this family fed, we appreciate your efforts and hope this pot helps and adds a bit of joy to the process

Paul on the other hand said this gift represents the kitchen "arms race" happening amongst my Dad and all my sisters.

  1. Paul said I have started a kitchen appliance arms race. Don't know if i started it but am certainly a participant. John and i went to Spoons $ Spice and I bought Mom a Le Creuset whistling tea pot that has been in constant use over these cold days.

We had a big discussion when he came over to our house on Xmas Eve and wrapped this secretly. Cheryl called at the time and said she got the biggest one as a wedding present but Karen borrowed it because it was so large.

You can make the best short ribs in this pot.

Great gift and your cooking is enjoyed by all your family.

    Love, Dad

  2. Scott and I make artisan bread using one of those. Ours is a $50 knock off though.

  3. Al! I'm so glad that you got your pot. I love the color. Man, I've been busy too, but you have been blogging away this December! I'm glad that you already found a use for the fabric!
